Nicolas Zhu Supported the Establishment of the Almage Sino-French Degenerative Diseases Research Center in Shanghai

On 19 April 2024, the first Almage Sino-French Degenerative Diseases Research Center was established in Shanghai. It was established together with Shanghai Ruijin Hospital Luwan Branch, Huangpu District Xiangshan Traditional Medicine Hospital and Huangpu District Elderly Care Hospital, each of them having a strong expertise in a specific area of elderly people neurology medical treatment areas.  

The project is initiated by Nicolas Zhu, Partner and Head of Life Sciences and Healthcare Sector Group at CMS, China with the strong support of Huangpu District Government, Commission of Health of Huangpu District, and Business France, with an aim at strengthening the international cooperation in the area of treatment of Alzheimer Disease in China, in the occasion of the celebration of the 60th year of diplomatic relationship between France and China.

The Vice Maire of Huangpu District Government in charge of health (Mrs YUAN Yuan), the Chief Director of the Commission of Health of Huangpu District (Mr Wang Wei), Alexandre EA (Director of Pole "Art of Life and Health" and co-head of French Healthcare Alliance) of Business France, Xavier ASSFELD, officer of Science and Technology of French General Consulate in Shanghai, Mr Mark SOUBIRAN, Managing Director of ISRP (Higher Institute of Psychomotor Rehabilitation in France), the Managing Director of ALMAGE Group, the Chief Director of three hospitals, officers of French General Consulate in Shanghai, government officials of other provinces and other French and Chinese participants attended the opening ceremony.
