Leoš Vavřík joins CMS Czech Republic's Banking & Finance practice

CMS is pleased to welcome Leoš Vavřík to its Banking & Finance practice in Prague. Leoš joins CMS as an associate, bringing extensive experience in domestic and cross-border financing transactions and further strengthening the firm's Banking & Finance offering.

Leoš specialises in legal advice on financing transactions and related matters.

Throughout his career, he has advised on a broad range of complex financing transactions, including acquisition financings, project financings and other structured financing arrangements. He has experience acting for both lenders and borrowers and has been involved in a number of significant domestic and cross-border financing projects.

With a particular emphasis on financing transactions, Leoš advises clients on transaction structuring, negotiating financing documentation and navigating the legal aspects of complex funding arrangements. His broad experience across different types of financing structures enables him to provide commercially focused advice tailored to clients' business objectives.

Leoš is also a co-author of the 14th edition of The Restructuring Review, published by The Law Reviews Publishing, reflecting his continued engagement with developments in the finance and restructuring market. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague and broadened his international perspective through studies at universities in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
