Libor is Of Counsel specialising in Real Estate and Competition law at CMS Prague.

He advises on all aspects of real estate mandates including real estate M&A, joint venture structures, construction projects, development, leasing, sale and lease-back transactions and greenfield investments. He specialises in complex property transactions and has acted on numerous landmark deals in the Czech Republic over the last decade.

Libor also advises on competition law, including merger clearance proceedings, the competition law aspects of commercial agreements, compliance issues and provides dawn raid training.

  • Deka Immobilien on the competition aspects of a EUR 460m strategic partnership with CTP.
  • Leonhard Moll Betonwerke GmbH & Co KG, a leading European producer of sleepers, on the competition aspects of the acquisition of ŽPSV, the largest manufacturer of prefabricated concrete elements and concrete railway sleepers in the Czech Republic.
  • ČSOB on the competition aspects of the acquisition 100% of shares in Českomoravská stavební spořitelna.
  • Sev.en Energy on the competition aspects in the acquisition 100% of shares of Alpiq CR.
  • A German producer of immobiliser coils concerning a letter from the Czech Office for Protection of Competition regarding vertical agreements and loyalty rebates.
  • A telecommunications provider on gun-jumping issues in the acquisition of a competitor. 
  • Dawn raid training for Henkel and Carmeuse.
  • A leading supermarket chain in proceedings related to the misuse of the significant market power.

  • Invesco on a JV Agreement with Crestyl concerning the acquisition and further development of high-end residential projects in Prague 6.
  • Revetas Capital on the sale of BBC Vila and Arena, two office complexes in Prague.
  • Arca Capital on a JV Agreement with Panattoni concerning the development of a logistic park in south Poland. 
  • Allianz Real Estate on acquisition of Trimaran, an office complex in Prague. 
  • A German supplier of industrial technology equipment on the construction of the new paint shop for Skoda Auto.
  • Karimpol on the sale of the Greenline Building, an office complex in Prague, to Wood & Co. 
  • Hannover Leasing on its acquisition and subsequently on the sale of Palladium Shopping Centre to Union Investment, the largest single-object real estate transaction on the Czech market to date.
