Grace is a Partner in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department.

She is a qualified Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. Grace also qualified as a Certified Public Secretary (CPS) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Grace’s main areas of practice are Civil and Commercial litigation in Employment Law, Environmental Law and Debt recovery. She represents clients in all dispute resolution forums including the Court of Appeal, High Court and various quasi-judicial tribunals and arbitral tribunals.

Relevant experience

  • Acting for an international non-governmental organization in Employment and Labour dispute claims. Successfully shielded the organization against multi-million potential liability in damages for unlawful termination.
  • Being part of the team that Successfully defended team, a derivative action and settling a substantial shareholders dispute concerning the sale of their company’s stake in a paint manufacturing group.
  • Successfully representing a charitable international organization in claims of unfair redundancy processes by providing comprehensive legal responses to complex demands and neutralizing threatened legal action.
  • Successfully representing a multinational consumer goods company before the Kenya Industrial Property Institute Tribunal in enforcing intellectual property rights.
