Lucy is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution Department at the Firm.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B Hons.) from Strathmore University, Nairobi. She holds a Master of Laws degree (LL.M) in International Commercial Law from Bristol University, United Kingdom. She also holds CPA (I) and (II) qualifications.
She undertook her Pupillage at CMS Kenya | Daly Inamdar Advocates and qualified as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 2022.
Lucy provides legal advise to various multi-national and local organisations on a wide range of legal matters. She also appears before judicial and quasi-judicial fora in the course of representing various clients in the areas of Civil and Commercial Litigation, Employment Law, Debt Recovery, Tax Law, Arbitration, Succession and Professional Negligence Law.

Relevant experience

  • Represented banks and financial institutions in various debt recovery matters before the High Court and the Magistrate’s Courts.
  • Represented various corporates and individuals in various employment disputes at the Employment and Labour Relations Court and also before arbitration tribunals.
  • Advised various clients in succession and administration matters in respect of various estates some over USD 10 million.
  • Provided various legal opinions and tax advisories to clients with the more recent being on the Electronic Tax Invoice Regulations of 2024.
  • Provided legal advisories and judicial representations to clients on various civil cases such as defamation, breach of contract, medical negligence and guardianship.
