Zeus is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution Department and an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.

Prior to undertaking his Post – Graduate training at the Kenya School of Law in 2016, Zeus studied at Africa Nazarene University Law School and obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree in 2015. 

Relevant experience

  • Successfully defended a Suit against a Cement Manufacturing Plant filed by its former employee, who sought Kenya Shillings 44 Million in damages and compensation for alleged unlawful termination.
  • Successfully defended a Suit against a client in the Tourism and Tours industry relating to a personal injury claim. Our client was vindicated of any vicarious liability as had been pleaded by the Plaintiff
  • Prepared and successfully argued a debt recovery Suit on behalf of a lending institution, against one of its debtors and guarantors. Judgment was entered in in the institution’s favour with the debtor being compelled to pay over Kenya Shillings 30 Million as the decretal sum.
  • Successfully represented a prominent insurance company in a suit where an employee sought reinstatement following termination.
  • Successfully represented a large lending institution in a suit where a debtor who sought injunctive orders prohibiting the institution from exercising its statutory power of sale.
  • Involved in the successful representation of Farmers Choice Limited in a Judicial Review Application against the National Land Commission and the County Government of Kiambu in respect of the unprocedural and illegal attempt by the County to have 248 acres of private land vested in the County.
  • Involved in defending a Claim against an insurance company which had provided tailored insurance services to a parastatal which had separately entered into Insurance Premium Financing Agreements with several banks.
  • Involved in appeal proceedings before the Capital Markets Appeals Tribunal involving a challenge of an enforcement notice by the Capital Markets Authority against a fund manager.
