We are seeking an Associate - Business Law Associate
As part of the continued growth of our Business Law practice, we are seeking an Associate – Business Law Advisory with 2 years of relevant experience.
You will advise a sophisticated client base including corporate groups, executives, entrepreneurs and investors on a broad range of business law and corporate advisory matters. You will be involved in varied domestic and cross-border matters, working closely with the partners and other practice groups across the firm.
This role offers a high level of autonomy, significant client exposure and the opportunity to further develop your technical expertise in a dynamic and international environment.
Your responsibilities
As part of your responsibilities, you will :
- Advise clients on business law matters and support them in the structuring of their projects.
- Conduct in-depth legal research.
- Draft legal advice, technical memoranda, corporate documents and commercial contracts.
- Assist clients with day-to-day and strategic matters, including corporate law, commercial contracts and governance.
- Participate in structuring, reorganisations, acquisitions, disposals and corporate housekeeping matters.
- Support clients in their dealings with the various internal and external stakeholders involved in matters.
- Coordinate with external advisors, foreign counsel and other stakeholders when required.
- Contribute to the development of client relationships and support the continued growth of the Business Law practice.
Your Profile
- Master's degree in Business Law, Corporate Law, Contract Law or equivalent qualification.
- 2 years of experience gained within a leading law firm or a recognised business law advisory practice.
- Strong expertise in business law, corporate law, commercial contracts and corporate advisory matters.
- Excellent drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a strong team-oriented approach.
- Strong client-service mindset and attention to detail.
- Fluency in both French and English is essential, both written and spoken.
