CMS Belgrade advises A1 Serbia on acquisition of software developer DEX
CMS Belgrade has advised A1 Serbia, part of one of the leading telecommunications groups in South-East Europe, on its acquisition of Belgrade-based software development company DEX.
This strategic transaction is aimed at strengthening A1 Serbia’s in-house IT and software development capabilities, further supporting its digital transformation and innovation ambitions in the Serbian market.
CMS Belgrade provided comprehensive legal support throughout the transaction. The Corporate/M&A team, led by Marija Tešić and supported by Jelena Đorđević, assisted and advised the client on the legal due diligence review of the target company, as well as the drafting and negotiation of the transaction documents.
The Competition team, led by Srđan Janković, handled all merger control aspects of the deal, including obtaining the necessary clearances in Serbia and North Macedonia.
