“As the collective voice of a future generation of carers, the views of carers surveyed were often more stark. Having battled through the challenges of caregiving, they are acutely aware of their own possible later life needs and the impact on their children. The industry has been much criticised for its slowness in addressing the needs of carers and its lack of innovation in providing better support mechanisms. Firms need to view their services through the lens of a carer and ask themselves what they could do better. It is critical we act now to get the right tools in place.”
