CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang (CMNO) is pleased to announce the continued expansion of its offering in Bratislava with the launch of a new Tax practice and the appointment of Hana Hlaváčková as Counsel. Hana joins CMS from BDO Slovakia, where she served as Tax Director.
Hana brings over a decade of extensive experience advising domestic and multinational clients on a broad range of complex tax matters, with a particular focus on corporate income tax, M&A-related tax structuring, cross-border transactions and business reorganisations. Her experience includes tax due diligence, corporate tax optimisation, real estate transactions, acquisitions, financing arrangements and the tax structuring of development projects, with a strong focus on delivering tax-efficient solutions and managing related risks. Throughout her career, Hana has advised on both strategic tax matters and ongoing corporate tax compliance, bringing together technical expertise with a practical understanding of clients’ broader commercial objectives.
Juraj Fuska, Managing Partner of CMS Bratislava, comments: “We are pleased to welcome Hana to the Bratislava team. The addition of dedicated tax expertise in Bratislava is a natural step in our commitment to the continuous development of our local offering, which fits very well into CMS’s global tax advisory offering. Hana brings valuable experience to the team, complementing the strengths of our market-leading capabilities, while further reinforcing our ability to provide clients with seamlessly integrated advice across an increasingly broad range of business and legal needs.”
Hana Hlaváčková says: “I am delighted to be joining CMS and to have the exciting opportunity to contribute my expertise to the development of its tax practice in Bratislava. The firm has a strong reputation for delivering seamless advice across practices and jurisdictions and I look forward to working with colleagues across the firm to bring a tax perspective to complex client matters. Above all, I am committed to delivering practical, commercially focused tax advice that helps our clients navigate increasingly complex business challenges.”
Hana’s appointment follows a series of strategic hires strengthening CMS’s offering in Slovakia. In May 2025, Peter Plachý joined the firm to lead its Dispute Resolution practice in Bratislava.
CMS in Slovakia is member of one of the largest international organisations of independent law firms globally and provides a full range of legal advice. The firm has extensive experience advising on some of the most significant cross-border deals, including M&A and financing transactions, restructurings, real estate investments and greenfield developments.
