Ján Ševčík focuses his practice on dispute resolution matters, corporate law, employment law including whistleblowing matters, corporate reorganisations. He assists national and international companies with day-to-day operational matters. 

Ján successfully advised clients in local litigation cases and in cross-border commercial litigation case. 

Ján participates in practice groups Real Estate & Construction and Energy & Climate Change.  
During his studies he gained practical experience as a paralegal in one of the top 10 local law firms in Slovakia (according to The Slovak Spectator). He has a Master of Laws degree from Comenius University in Bratislava (2023). 

Jan is also the author and co-author of several legal articles.

  • Agricultural company | Advising a debtor in enforcement proceedings arising out of cross-border litigation based on a foreign arbitral award issued outside the European Union.
  • Retail shopping centre | Assisted with collecting of outstanding due amounts from tenants, including subsequent enforcement proceedings. 
  • Construction company | Advised on collecting disputed sums for completed works from contractors, including subsequent enforcement proceedings. 
  • Slovak automotive components industry leader | Participated in investigation and verification of a whistleblower's report on illegal activity and advised the client on next steps.
  • Global distributor in life science industry | Revised and modified general terms and conditions of a global life science and specialty performance ingredients distributor in accordance with the legal regulations of the Slovak Republic.
