Roman Kettner

Roman is an associate in the Real Estate & Construction team at CMS Slovakia. He has experience in real estate transactions, involving complex due diligence processes that included review of title chains, easements, permitting procedures, liens, utility connections, access rights, and corporate aspects of share‑deal structures. Roman has experience with preparing comprehensive due diligence reports, coordinating vendor due diligence processes and drafting key transactional documentation such as real estate purchase agreements, construction contracts, and commercial lease agreements (often in German). His real estate work also includes incorporating SPVs for joint venture development projects and representing clients in administrative court proceedings related to real estate development.

Beyond due diligence and transactional drafting, Roman provided advice to major property owners, including preparing and managing lease agreements and subsequent litigation. His broader corporate and M&A background further strengthens his real estate practice, as he advises on share‑deal acquisitions involving real estate assets and coordinates multi‑disciplinary teams across corporate, regulatory, and litigation issues.
