CMS Wistrand advises NWT Fastigheter AB on two property acquisitions in Karlstad

NWT Fastigheter, part of the NWT Gruppen AB group, owns and manages around 85,000 sqm of commercial and residential properties. CMS Wistrand has advised NWT Fastigheter in connection with the company’s acquisition of the properties Mercurius 12 and Lagercentralen 1 in Karlstad.

Mercurius 12 is a fully let commercial corner property comprising approximately 7,300 sqm, located at the intersection of Drottninggatan and Östra Torggatan – one of Karlstad’s most central hubs. Its tenants include Arbetsförmedlingen (the Swedish Public Employment Service), Folkuniversitetet, the police, Erik Olsson, and Softronic. The transaction was structured as a share deal and is subject to regulatory approvals, with closing scheduled for autumn 2025. The sellers include Broville AB, among others.

Lagercentralen 1 comprises approximately 7,600 sqm of retail space, offices, storage, and garages. The property is located in a rapidly developing area and hosts tenants such as Coop and Apcoa Parking. This transaction was also structured as a share deal, with NWT Fastigheter taking possession of Lagercentralen 1 on 1 July. The seller was Löfberg Fastigheter AB.

These acquisitions align with NWT Fastigheter’s strategy of growing through high-quality investments in prime locations, contributing to the sustainable and positive urban development of Karlstad.
