CMS Wistrand advises Strawberry on new Home Hotel project in Västerås

CMS Wistrand has advised Strawberry, a leading Nordic hotel group, in connection with the establishment of a new Home Hotel at Finnslätten in Västerås.

The hotel will comprise 167 rooms, as well as meeting facilities, a gym and a restaurant. Through the Home Hotel concept, Strawberry aims to meet the growing demand for accommodation from international guests, consultants and business travellers in the expanding Finnslätten industrial cluster. The hotel will be operated in premises owned by Aroseken.

Finnslätten is currently undergoing significant development as part of the “Vision Finnslätten” initiative and is home to several major industrial companies.

Construction is planned to commence in autumn 2026, with the hotel expected to open in 2029.
