13 Mar 2025 Sweden 1 min read

CMS Wistrand has advised TreeToTextile AB in connection with Lenzing Group’s investment and new partnership in the company. The investment aims to accelerate the development of a renewable and resource-efficient cellulose fibre for textile and nonwoven applications.

Swedish-based TreeToTextile is driving systemic change in the textile industry by developing the next-generation cellulose fiber. Supported by its owners – H&M Group, Inter IKEA Group, Stora Enso and LSCS Invest – the company strives to provide a renewable and resource-efficient fibre with a low environmental impact. The fibre has the potential to complement or replace parts of the cotton, viscose and polyester markets.

Austria-based Lenzing Group has production sites and sales representation in over ten countries and is behind well-known trademarks such as TENCEL™, LENZING™ ECOVERO™, VEOCEL™ and REFIBRA™.

CMS Wistrand’s team consisted of Peter Lexenberg and Amanda Espinasse.
