CMS Wistrand is proud to announce the launch of equIP Sweden, a strategic programme designed to support innovative start-ups and scale-ups on their journey from early growth to international expansion.

CMS Wistrand is excited to announce the launch of equIP Sweden, a strategic legal support programme for high-growth start-ups and scale-ups. This initiative supports innovative companies from early growth stages to international expansion, providing legal tools tailored to the challenges of scaling a business in today's competitive market.

As part of CMS’s global equIP programme, the programme offers selected companies:

  • Expert legal advice in areas such as IP protection, corporate governance, regulatory compliance and fundraising.
  • Strategic guidance tailored for tech, media, and IT start-ups
  • Access to CMS's international legal network, investors and ecosystem partners

''Our ambition with equIP is to be a long-term partner to the scale-ups of the future,'' says Ólafur Steindórsson, partner at CMS Wistrand. ''We want to give start-ups the right conditions to succeed, both in Sweden and internationally.''

Start-ups accepted onto the programme will receive a range of benefits, including substantial discounts. The programme runs for three years and the number of start-ups onboarded to the programme every year is limited to an exclusive number.

equIP is open to companies that have secured seed funding, are aiming for Series A funding within six to nine months, have launched revenue-generating products and demonstrate a high degree of innovation and are rich in IP, focusing on the tech, media and IT sectors. Companies driving positive social or environmental impact are strongly encouraged to apply.
