Gunnar Blomberg is a partner in CMS Wistrand's practice group Corporate & Commercial and is specialized in labour law, tenancy, marketing law and transactions, but his practice also includes advising on legal issues related to consumer credits and insurances. With more than 30 years of experience, he has extensive expertise in advising both Swedish and international clients regarding more or less all kinds of issues in within the fields mentioned

Gunnar Blomberg joined CMS Wistrand in 1999 as a co-founder of the firm’s Stockholm office.
Other experience of his is secondment in Chicago with Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP (previously Gardner Carton Douglas (Chicago).

Gunnar Blomberg has contributed to legal education through guest lectures at Stockholm School of Economics during many years.

Relevant experience

Advising major global tire manufacturer i.a. with contractual issues and negotiations with Swedish truck manufacturer as regards new framework agreement including advise on liability matters such as product liability.
Work with major European bank´s Swedish consumer business as regarding questions related to consumer credits (both regulatory, contractual and market law).
Advise to a large international food logistic company with drafting of rental agreement as regards new logistic centre in Sweden.
Advise to global insurance companies with contract drafting and negotiations with several banks with regard to PPI insurance (payment protection insurances) and other consumer insurances.
Advise to several of Swedish largest construction companies in litigation in Labour court in disputes against Swedish trade unions.
Extensive work with Swedish and international companies with labour law issues in connection with downsizings and mergers.
Advice with regard to a large number of transactions, including the acquisition of privately-owned Swedish companies with payment in different kind of consideration (shares, cash or a combined thereof) as well as a large number of transactions with assistance to sellers of Swedish companies to Swedish or foreign buyers.
