CMS Cameron McKenna advised Kulczyk Oil Ventures on its acquisition of KUB-Gas

CMS Cameron McKenna advised Kulczyk Oil Ventures (an arm of the major Polish investment companies – Kulczyk Investments), an international oil & gas exploration and development company, on its ultimate acquisition of a 70% interest in Kub-Gas, an independent natural gas producer in Ukraine. The size of the deal totalled USD 45 million. Assets of Kub-Gas consist of 4 gas fields located in Eastern Ukraine in the Dnieper-Donets basin.

CMS Cameron McKenna provided due diligence and Ukrainian law overall transaction support to a purchase side of the deal. The team of CMS Cameron McKenna team in Kyiv was led by Daniel Bilak (partner and the head of Real Estate practice group (PG)), and Christina Maciw (partner and the head of EPC (energy projects and construction) PG) and Adam Mycyk (managing partner and the head of Corporate PG).
