CMS Cameron McKenna Managing Partner Daniel Bilak elected to EBA Board

Daniel Bilak, Managing Partner of the Kyiv office of CMS Cameron McKenna, has been elected to the EBA Board of Directors at the recent EBA Annual General Membership Meeting. He joins 15 other EBA Board Members, including the managing directors and CEOs of Nestle Ukraine, Ernst & Young, ING Bank Ukraine, Kraft Foods Ukraine, Coca-Cola, and Danone.

Daniel joined CMS Cameron McKenna in Kyiv in 2007 and also heads up the firm’s Infrastructure and Project Finance Practice Group in Ukraine and its CEE Hotels and Leisure practice. With over 20 years of experience working in the private and public sectors in Ukraine (including almost ten years as a senior legal adviser to the Ukrainian government), he has extensive knowledge of the local market and managing legal risk on behalf of clients.

In the infrastructure sector Daniel advises clients on wind farms and road concession projects and has advised the Ukrainian government regarding PPP issues related to airport and stadium construction. He also acts for international oil and gas and renewable energy companies on land use, investment and regulatory issues. Daniel represents major international and Ukrainian real estate developers, investors, and lenders in connection with hotel management contracts, construction and commercial financing and commercial property acquisition and development, and the licensing of construction companies.
