CMS strengthens global life sciences offering with four-strong lawyer hire in Ukraine

International law firm CMS is pleased to announce that Borys Danevych will be joining the firm as a partner and Head of Life Sciences at CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang in Kyiv from 1 November 2020. Borys was previously the owner and head of Danevych.Law, a leading life sciences boutique law firm in Ukraine, which will be strategically integrated into CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang in Kyiv following his appointment. 

As part of this integration, CMS is also pleased to welcome Borys’ legal and administrative team to the firm, including Anastasiya Filipiuk, Senior Associate, Artem Grudinin, Associate, Anastasiya Maistruk, Associate, and Iryna Tvardovska, Administrative Executive, all of whom are joining from Danevych.Law. Both Borys and his team will be based in Kyiv and will join the firm’s existing Commercial team, where they will continue to offer leading life sciences advice. 

Borys brings more than 15 years of experience working with international pharmaceutical, biotech, research and development, and medical devices companies, as well as healthcare services and health technology organisations. He regularly advises clients on regulatory, anti-counterfeiting, compliance in life sciences, pharmaceutical competition and IP, policy dialogue projects and regulatory disputes. Borys also counsels clients on employment and personal data protection issues, investor-state disputes, and white-collar criminal investigations.
