Louise Çakar is an English-qualified solicitor specialising in advising multinationals on a variety of corporate transactions in emerging markets. Louise has extensive international experience, having coordinated and advised on transactions throughout Eastern, Central and Southern Europe, Türkiye, Central Asia and the Middle East. She has both private practice and in-house experience.

Louise specialises in cross border mergers and acquisitions and on the establishment of international joint-ventures. She regularly coordinates multi-jurisdictional due diligence exercises and advises on all transaction documents, while her awareness of commonly occurring local law issues means that she is able to quickly identify potential obstacles and work effectively with local legal teams to resolve them ensuring that transactions are completed smoothly and efficiently.
