Mykhailo Sus is a senior associate in the Life Sciences & Healthcare team at CMS Ukraine. Mykhailo advises international and local clients on various competition, regulatory, and commercial matters, advertising and promotion, compliance, personal data protection, and public procurement.

Mykhailo’s core specialisation is competition law. He has extensive experience advising clients from different industries, including Life Sciences & Healthcare, on a wide range of issues related to this area of law, supporting clients during investigations and market studies by the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMC) and in appealing the agency’s decisions in court. Mykhailo has been involved in several high-profile investigations of anticompetitive concerted practices, abuse of dominance, and unfair competition, as well as court disputes on the invalidation of the AMC’s decisions important to the development of the enforcement practice.

Apart from his legal practice, Mykhailo is actively engaged in scientific activities and has a Ph.D. in law, having defended his dissertation at the intersection of constitutional and competition law titled “Constitutional Foundations of State Protection of Competition in Ukraine in the Context of the European Union Experience.”

Mykhailo is recognised as a practice leader in the Medical/Pharma law by the recent ranking "Client Choice. Top 100 Ukrainian lawyers".
