We hope you can join to hear from our panel of experts who will present and discuss the following key topics:

Collaborative Contracting

With Collaborative Contracting set to be introduced in Singapore, our panel will share their experiences from using the NEC form in Hong Kong and the UK, the possible issues that may be expected, the lessons that can be learnt, and what can be expected in Singapore and the wider region.

Guaranteeing Performance in Construction Projects

Recent developments in the UK have shone a spotlight on the operation and use of retention monies in construction projects, which is often treated as an automatic requirement and not questioned. Our panel will examine these developments and the possible implications these developments may have in Singapore and South East Asia.

Resolving Disputes in Infrastructure Projects in Asia

With investment in infrastructure continuing apace throughout Asia, complicated questions of how best to deal with disputes on large projects and cross border transactions will arise. Our panel members will provide insight into how best to manage such disputes, the crucial importance of effective interfacing between contractors on large projects, the role played by dispute boards in relation to such disputes and projects as well as address topical issues such as the prevention/management of calls on performance bonds, and the enforcement of awards in the context of belt and road related disputes.
