The Chamber of Commerce Switzerland – Central Europe (SEC) is organising an event called POLEN KOMPAKT. As part of this event, Niklaus Zaugg and Marjolaine Jakob from CMS von Erlach Poncet Ltd. will give a lecture entitled “Dos and don’ts of contract drafting and dispute resolution from a Swiss perspective”.

The content of a contract is crucial for its successful performance. As a result, there are several key aspects that must be considered during the drafting process.

This presentation is designed to provide a concise overview of the rules and considerations that should be taken into account when drafting contracts, particularly in cross-border situations. The lecture also briefly addresses the dispute resolution possibilities that are of interest from a Swiss perspective both when disputes arise from a contract and when the contract is concluded and which should therefore be considered during the drafting process.
