We are pleased to announce the appointment of Yoann Lambert and Dr Maxence Carron as partners, effective 1 January 2026.
Both have been integral members of our Litigation Department for many years and bring recognised expertise in their respective fields: Yoann Lambert in white-collar crime and civil litigation, and Dr Maxence Carron in arbitration and contract law.

Yoann Lambert joined CMS in January 2016 and has since become a key member of the Dispute Resolution team.
He specializes in civil and criminal litigation and has recognised expertise in particular in criminal law, white-collar crime, administrative criminal law, media law, interim measures, consumer law, debt enforcement and bankruptcy law and contractual litigation. In this capacity, he advises private clients and Swiss and international companies.
Yoann Lambert obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Geneva in 2013, graduating top of his class. He then spent six months at the University of Zurich before completing a Certificate in Transnational Law in 2014 and obtaining his Master of Laws in 2015. In July 2015, he also received the Certificate of Advanced Studies in the Legal Profession. After completing his traineeship at CMS, he was admitted to the Geneva Bar in October 2017, graduating top of his class.
Committed to providing strategic and pragmatic solutions, Yoann actively contributes to strengthening CMS’s Dispute Resolution practice by delivering high-quality advice tailored to the specific needs of his clients.

Maxence Carron joined CMS in November 2018 and possesses extensive expertise in litigation and arbitration, commercial and contract law, as well as construction and real estate law.
He holds an MLaw (bilingual French-German) from the University of Fribourg and an MJur from the University of Oxford. During his studies, he gained experience as a parliamentary assistant at the Federal Assembly in Bern and as a research and teaching assistant to Prof. Franz Werro, specialising in contract law and torts at the University of Fribourg. As part of his legal traineeship, he defended a doctoral thesis on the termination of contracts for services (art. 404 of the Swiss Code of Obligations).
Maxence Carron is a frequent contributor to publications in contract law, torts, and unfair competition law, as well as in civil procedure and private international law. He is also the author or co-author of several books on contract law.
Maxence will continue to develop our Dispute Resolution practice.
