A team of CMS Zurich led by Stefan Brunnschweiler advised CCC Group on all legal aspects of the sale of Vögele Shoes - a traditional brand in the Swiss shoe trade that is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. As of 3 June 2021, cm.shoes GmbH, in cooperation with the Munich-based financial investor GA Europe, has taken over the popular Swiss shoe retailer from the Polish CCC Group. The changes in the ownership of Karl Vögele AG are the result of the restructuring plans. This decision eventuates directly from the GO.22 strategy announced by CCC at the beginning of 2020, which established CCC's focus on the Central and Eastern Europe region.
CCC will continue its operations in Switzerland through its online platform eschuhe.ch.
