Alina Fancelli advises clients primarily in the areas of financial markets law, including capital markets law, as well as in contract and corporate law matters. In these fields, she also represents clients in proceedings before courts, supervisory authorities and regulatory bodies. A particular focus of her practice is on advising financial institutions and investment foundations, in particular with regard to regulatory issues, as well as on advising internationally active companies and significant shareholders of (listed) companies on corporate and capital markets law issues.
Alina Fancelli holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Law and Economics from the University of St. Gallen. She also studied at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan and – as part of the THEMIS program to obtain the "Joint Certificate in International and Business Law" – at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. After completing her legal traineeship at CMS, Alina Fancelli was admitted to the Zurich Bar in 2022 and has been working as an attorney at law at CMS since then.
