Daniel Zemp has extensive experience in national and international litigation. He represents nationally and internationally active companies and private individuals in civil disputes and in the enforcement of claims. Daniel Zemp's expertise covers Swiss and German law, with a particular focus on insurance law and liability issues.
Before joining CMS Zurich, Daniel Zemp worked for several years as a litigation lawyer in renowned commercial law firms in Zurich and Berlin.
Daniel Zemp studied at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) and at the Humboldt University in Berlin and wrote his doctoral thesis on a civil procedure topic related to Swiss and German law. His doctorate was awarded the Prof. Walther Hug Prize 2018/2019 and the Joseph Vigener Prize 2020.
Daniel Zemp is admitted to the bar in Switzerland and Germany.
