Looking ahead: Themes for 2026
New regulations, case law, and risks are driving significant changes in insurance and liability law. During Insurance Day 2026, CMS, together with experts from the insurance sector, will guide you through the most important developments and their impact on the sector in an interactive format. Please find the full programme further in this invitation.
The focus will be on three current themes:
- International Developments in PFAS – From general liability to environmental, D&O, and professional liability: PFAS is permeating every sector. Our international insurance group provides insight into the latest developments in the industry.
- The Future of (PI) Construction – We will discuss the future of construction risks and the crucial role that insurance plays in this context.
- Cyber Security & Risks – Together with industry experts, we will explore how to effectively manage liability risks following a cyber incident – and which steps are essential to prevent damage.
We will approach each topic through the lens of recent case law, market implications, and panel discussions. Below is a preliminary list of speakers. Of course, there will be plenty of opportunity to network during the breaks, the reception, and the closing buffet dinner.
