Olivia Zingg is an associate in the IP/TMC practice group. She advises Swiss and international companies on IT and data protection law, as well as on intellectual property and competition law. Her work includes drafting and negotiating software, cloud and outsourcing contracts, as well as licence and development agreements. Another key area of her practice is advising on data protection and cyber security, including supporting companies in the event of cyber incidents. She also handles the intellectual property, IT and data protection aspects of M&A transactions.
Olivia Zingg studied law at the University of St Gallen. During her studies, she worked at a legal tech company, in the compliance department of a financial services provider and as a student assistant at a university department. Following her legal traineeship at our firm and a position as an auditor at the St. Gallen Public Prosecutor’s Office, she was admitted to the bar in 2023 and has been practising as a solicitor with us ever since. In 2025, she completed the CAS in Data Protection at the University of Zurich.
