Sophie Brettschneider is a member of the Banking and Finance team and focuses on advising clients in financial market law, including regulatory issues and capital market law. She also assists clients with general contract and corporate law matters as well as legal aspects related to the structuring and execution of financial transactions.

Sophie Brettschneider studied Business Administration and Law at the University of St. Gallen. After completing her degree in Business Administration, she gained valuable professional experience in strategy consulting and in a technology company in Dublin. During her subsequent law studies, she worked as a research assistant at the Chair for Legal History, Sociology of Law, and Criminal Law. Following internships at CMS and another law firm, Sophie Brettschneider obtained her bar admission in 2024 and has been practicing as an attorney with our firm ever since.
