On August 2026 , CMS China held the CMS China Legal Lunch Bites on the topic Navigating China’s Revised Trademark Law: Key Changes for Trademark Owners. 

China’s revised Trademark Law will come into effect on 1 January 2027. The revision covers a wide range of content such as refined trademark registration conditions, enhanced well-known trademark protection, and strengthened enforcement mechanisms, etc. These changes will impact how trademark owners manage and protect their brands in China.
