Horace is a dual-qualified solicitor in Hong Kong and England & Wales, specialising in international arbitration, complex construction disputes and high-stakes commercial matters. He advises multinational corporations, leading construction firms and statutory authorities on disputes involving infrastructure, energy, real estate and international trade. He has acted in arbitrations under HKIAC, ICC and LCIA rules, across multiple jurisdictions and industry sectors, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Horace’s construction practice covers defects, delay and disruption claims, extensions of time, variations and termination matters under both standard-form and bespoke construction contracts. He supports clients on large-scale disputes involving major development and infrastructure projects, leading drafting exercises, coordinating expert evidence and developing persuasive case strategies. He also advises on dispute avoidance and termination planning. In commercial disputes, Horace handles contractual, shareholder and insolvency matters, and recently advised a statutory body on a transformative payment regime enabling direct bank transfers for property transactions.
