Financial Services & Regulation

We provide strategic legal advice to financial institutions, asset managers, and family offices on regulatory compliance, licensing, and investment product distribution in Hong Kong. Our team supports clients through complex regulatory change and business establishment processes.

Advisory

We assist clients in navigating their regulatory and compliance obligations and their implementation of large regulatory compliance / change projects. We also advise clients on the distribution of investment products and the establishment of separately managed accounts in Hong Kong. Our team also has experience in advising family offices on establishing their businesses in Hong Kong, the Hong Kong legal and regulatory environment and the execution of their investment programme.

Licensing

We guide clients through licensing applications with key Hong Kong regulatory bodies, including the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), the Customs and Excise Department, and the Companies Registry.
