Jacquelin has experience in general commercial litigation and shareholder disputes. She has also assisted with employment, data privacy and insolvency matters.  

Prior to qualifying as a lawyer, she qualified as a radiation therapist.

Insurance 

  •  Insurers in pursuing debt recovery, involving marine and employee compensation claims.
  • Freight forwarders in defending a misdelivery of goods claim.
  • Due diligence in relation to the proposed intra-group portfolio transfer of a life insurance company.

Commercial Disputes

  •  An ultra-high-net-worth individual and related entities in an HK$1 billion investment fraud dispute and discharging the Mareva injunction therein.
  • A majority shareholder in a joint venture against the other shareholder and its beneficial owners for repayment of a substantial loan.
  • A listed company in relation to a cross-border share purchase dispute.

  • 2016 – B.M.R.Sc., Bachelor of Medical Radiation Sciences, summa cum laude, McMaster University.
