Mengyi Chen is a Partner in the Hong Kong office and a key member of CMS’ Greater China TMIC Practice. She has substantial experiences advising innovation-driven businesses on intellectual property, commercialisation, regulatory risk and complex commercial and IP disputes across Greater China and international markets.
Her practice brings together four complementary areas of expertise: intellectual property, technology and commercial transactions, regulatory compliance and risk management, and complex dispute resolution. She advises clients throughout the entire innovation and business lifecycle, covering product development, licensing and commercialisation, international expansion, compliance, intellectual property protection and enforcement, and dispute resolutions. She has led numerous cross-border and multi-jurisdictional matters and works closely with CMS teams around the world to provide integrated commercial, regulatory and disputes support.
Mengyi has particular expertise in the technology, digital platforms, life sciences and healthcare, and media sectors. She is widely recognised by clients for seamlessly integrating technical legal knowledge with commercial insight, enabling businesses to address complex legal and regulatory issues while advancing their strategic objectives in dynamic and fast-changing markets.
