Edoardo Benzoni is an Associate in the Firm’s Banking & Finance Department and is based in the Milan office.
Edoardo specialises in banking and financial law. He provides both in-court and out-of-court legal assistance to banks, public authorities, companies, and Italian and international investment funds, financial companies, and asset management firms, both nationally and internationally. He has gained significant experience in banking and financial litigation and in matters related to derivatives, as well as cryptocurrencies.
His practice focuses on assisting clients with dispute resolution, with a particular emphasis on litigation concerning liability arising from financial instruments, banking and insurance products, as well as employment relationships in the agency distribution sector. He is regularly involved in derivatives transactions and other structured finance transactions. He also provides advice on debt management, regulatory aspects of capital markets, and financing transactions.
Before joining CMS, Edoardo worked in the litigation department of a leading Italian law firm.
