We are recruiting a Senior Associate – Private Clients Practice (Family and Wealth Disputes) As part of the continued growth of our Private Clients Practice, we are seeking a Senior Associate specialising in Family and Wealth Disputes with 4 to 6 years of experience. You will advise a demanding private client base comprising business leaders, entrepreneurs, family offices and high-net-worth individuals on a broad range of family and wealth dispute matters. You will work on complex domestic and cross-border cases, in close collaboration with the Partners and other practice groups across the firm. This position offers significant autonomy, direct client exposure and the opportunity to further develop high-level technical expertise within a dynamic and international environment. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise and assist clients on family, wealth and succession disputes.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research.
  • Draft legal opinions, memoranda, pleadings, submissions and correspondence.
  • Assist clients with family, inheritance and wealth-related disputes, including in an international context.
  • Prepare court hearings and contribute to the development of litigation strategies in close cooperation with the Partners.
  • Support clients in their dealings with courts, notaries, external advisers and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with external counsel, foreign correspondents and other advisers when required.
  • Contribute to client relationship development and support the continued growth of the firm's Private Clients Practice.

 

Candidate Profile

  • Master's degree (Master 2) in Private Law, Family Law, Wealth Planning Law or an equivalent qualification.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience gained within a leading law firm or a recognised practice specialising in family, wealth or succession disputes.
  • Strong expertise in family litigation, wealth disputes, succession matters and the servicing of an international private client base.
  • Excellent drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously while thriving in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong client-service mindset and exceptional professional rigour.
  • Fluency in both French and English, written and spoken, is essential.
