We Are Recruiting a Paralegal – Private Clients
As part of the continued growth of our Private Clients department, we are seeking a Paralegal with 3 to 5 years of experience gained within a law firm or another demanding legal environment. You will support a sophisticated private client base comprising executives, entrepreneurs, family offices and high-net-worth individuals on a broad range of wealth, civil and international matters. You will be involved in sensitive and complex cases, working closely with the partners, associates and other practice groups of the firm. This position offers genuine responsibility in the management and follow-up of matters, significant client exposure, and the opportunity to develop high-level technical expertise within a dynamic and international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the teams with the management and follow-up of private client matters.
- Conduct documentary and legal research in support of associates and partners.
- Draft and format notes, memoranda, draft legal documents, correspondence and other legal materials.
- Assist with the preparation and implementation of wealth structuring, succession planning and family governance matters.
- Ensure document management and coordinate exchanges with clients, external advisers, notaries, banks and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to the preparation of client meetings, internal meetings and key matter deadlines.
- Monitor procedural deadlines and oversee the filing and archiving of matters.
- Coordinate exchanges with external advisers, foreign correspondents and other stakeholders whenever required.
- Contribute to the development of client relationships and support the growth of the Private Clients practice.
Candidate Profile
- Higher legal education in Private Law, Wealth Planning Law, Business Law, or an equivalent qualification.
- Significant experience gained within a leading law firm, a notarial practice, or another demanding legal environment.
- Strong interest in private client work, wealth planning and the management of complex legal matters.
- Excellent drafting, analytical and summarising skills.
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative environment.
- Strong client-service mindset, excellent organisational skills and a high level of professional rigour.
- Fluent command of both French and English, written and spoken.
