We are recruiting a Senior Associate – Private Client Practice (Wealth Advisory)
As part of the continued growth of our Private Client Practice, we are seeking a Senior Associate specialising in Wealth Advisory with more than 8 years of relevant experience. You will advise a demanding private client base comprising business leaders, entrepreneurs, family offices and high-net-worth individuals on a broad range of wealth advisory, asset structuring and succession planning matters. You will work on complex domestic and cross-border matters in close collaboration with the Partners and other practice groups across the firm. This position offers significant autonomy, direct client exposure and the opportunity to further develop high-level technical expertise within a dynamic and international environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Advise clients on wealth planning, asset structuring and wealth transfer matters.
- Conduct in-depth legal research.
- Draft legal opinions, memoranda, technical notes and legal documentation.
- Assist clients with business and wealth structuring, reorganisation and succession transactions.
- Participate in wealth planning, succession planning and family governance matters.
- Advise on issues relating to name, nationality and residence, as well as asset protection.
- Protect and defend clients' interests in relation to existing or potential disputes.
- Assist clients in their dealings with notaries, private banks, family offices, external advisers and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate exchanges with external counsel, foreign correspondents and other advisers when required.
- Contribute to the development of client relationships and support the continued growth of the firm's Private Clients Practice.
Candidate Profile
- Master's degree (Master 2) in Private Law, Wealth Planning Law, Notarial Law, Business Law or an equivalent qualification.
- More than 8 years of experience gained within a leading law firm, notarial practice, family office, private bank or recognised wealth advisory environment.
- Strong expertise in wealth advisory, wealth structuring, business and wealth succession planning, family governance and advising an international private client base.
- Excellent drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while thriving in a collaborative environment.
- Strong client-service mindset and exceptional professional rigour.
- Fluency in both French and English, written and spoken, is essential.
