Act No 1,474 of 2 July 2019 on “sauvegarde de justice”, the lasting power of attorney, and the role of judicial representative, has introduced a series of measures aiming at strenghening the legal protection of vulnerable persons in Monaco. Raphaëlle Svara, Monagasque lawyer and partner within the firm’s Private Clients team, after presenting the new Act will focus on the lasting power of attorney, which now enables Monaco residents to anticipate their future incapacity and organise the protection of their interests and those of their children in the event of death.
