CMS Derks Star Busmann has advised 3M Company (NYSE:MMM) on the Dutch legal aspects of the purchase of Office & Consumer Products Business (printable media) from Avery Dennison Corp. (NYSE:AVY).
The worldwide sales transaction involved an amount of US$ 550 million.
3M (Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing) Company is an international technology company with more than 50,000 products in a wide range of sectors. Throughout the world, 3M has almost 80,000 employees, 6,700 of which are in R&D, working in production locations and/or laboratories in more than 65 countries. In 2010, 3M's global turnover was $ 27 billion.
A team consisting of Martika Jonk and Arne van Bijnen advised 3M in the transfer of shares and assets.
