We provide pragmatic, commercial, business-focused advice and guidance to clients facing distressed and special situations, in the Netherlands and internationally.

Our lawyers are also regularly being appointed by the Dutch Court as administrator and (preliminary) bankruptcy trustee in high-profile insolvency proceedings. Our knowledge and experience of both (debt) restructurings and acting as court-appointed bankruptcy trustees, makes CMS uniquely positioned to advise all stakeholders facing distressed and special situations

We assist board members, financial institutions, (secured) borrowers, creditors, debtors and other stakeholders in complex (cross border) restructuring and (international) insolvency related cases.
