CMS DSB has assisted and advised UniCredit Bank Austria in the financing of Auriga EAD and the takeover of Auriga EAD's parent company Lema B.V. by part of Heitman, a real estate investment firm. Auriga EAD owns the Sofia City Center mall in Sofia, Bulgaria. This financing (€ 7 million) concerns an increase of an already existing finance facility of € 64 million.
CMS DSB advised on the necessary corporate documentation and issued a legal opinion.
The team was led by Marcel Groenewegen and also consisted of Jelle Timmenga and Marc Orval. The transaction was finalized successfully on 25 November 2008.
