Mahrukh Mahmood belongs to CMS Kluge's Employment Law and Pension department. She provides legal assistance to both public and private clients on a wide range of national and international employment law issues, including terminations, downsizing, all stages of whistleblowing cases, and matters related to EEA law. Mahmood also has expertise in data protection and works at the intersection between employment law and data protection. Her work on data protection encompasses areas such as the legal basis for processing personal data, development of data protection compliance documents and procedures, implementation of control measures in the workplace, and cross-border transfer of personal data.
Mahmood completed her master’s in law at the University of Oslo in 2021. During her studies, she served as a research assistant at the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights. Her master's thesis was focused on constitutional law and human rights and titled "Article 13 of the European Convention on Human Rights and the requirements for a complaint mechanism in national parliamentary elections." Throughout her academic journey, Mahmood also pursued legal studies in French at Aix-Marseille University.”
