Thomas Myklebust Våland is associated with CMS Kluge’s Energy, Industry & Climate Department. He works with dispute resolution and consulting services within several legal fields, particularly within contract law, energy law, public law and corporate law.

Våland holds a master’s degree in law from the University of Bergen. He wrote a master thesis titled “Criteria for permitting derogation of the environmental status of water bodies”. Våland is also specialized in both Norwegian and UK company law.

Våland has also completed individual courses in business management at Newcastle University Business School.
