Who we are
Ambassador Programme
Our Ambassador Programme is open to law students from their first year onwards. This is an opportunity to familiarise yourself with the firm, take part in projects, and implement your own initiatives.
Ambassadors play a key role in fostering relationships between CMS and the academic community. Together with the HR and EB teams, they co-create events such as training sessions, competitions, and internship programmes.
The programme runs throughout the academic year and provides an excellent foundation for a career at CMS.
Future Facing: the next generation
These are paid summer internships for first- and second-year law students. The programme focuses on providing real-world experience and developing practical skills. Interns participate in introductory training courses, work under the supervision of mentors, and use modern tools. They also get involved in real projects at the firm.
Internships last for one month and take place in July, August or September. We provide each participant with individual feedback, pointing out their strengths, as well as areas for further development.
Summer Internship Programme
We offer paid internships for third-, fourth-, and fifth-year students and graduates. During the internship, we provide an introductory training package, ongoing support from mentors who will ensure that the time spent at our law firm is as practical as possible, as well as access to modern work tools. You will also have the opportunity to take part in interesting projects. We ensure that every intern receives feedback that highlights their strengths, as well as areas for improvement. We offer a wide range of training courses.
Internships last for two months and take place in cycles from July to October. Finally, at the end of each month, we organise summarising meetings and individual development discussions.
Rotational internship
This is a 12-month paid internship offer aimed at final-year law students and graduates who have previously completed an internship at the firm or have won a competition organised by the firm.
We invite around 10 people to join the programme. They then gain experience in four different departments, spending three months in each department over a period of 12 months. The rotational internship formula gives you a better understanding of the work of individual teams, making it easier for you to choose your future career path.
Programme participants receive support from mentors, develop their interdepartmental cooperation skills, and build a network of contacts within the company. After completing the internship, you can enter into a collaboration with the law firm.
Practice areas
The CMS structure is divided into six main departments. As well as our departments and legal practices, we also have specialised sector groups. They bring together lawyers from various departments and specialist areas, who have an in-depth understanding of a specific sector of the economy.
