Martin is a lawyer at CMS Bratislava focusing his practice on capital market transactions, M&A and real estate law. 

Martin focuses on capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, greenfield and real estate matters, drawing on extensive experience from a range of high-profile local and international transactions. His work includes conducting thorough due diligence investigations, preparing and reviewing transactional documentation, and providing support with deal closings and post-closing agendas. 

Martin advises financial institutions, government entities and corporates on a variety of significant capital markets transactions, including debt and equity offerings, government bonds, corporate bonds, and covered bonds. In addition, he plays a key role in advising and supporting both international and domestic lenders, issuers, and underwriters.

  • Vaillant GmbH on its EUR 120m greenfield investment projects in Slovakia.
  • A debt and liquidity management agency on the historic first issuance of retail government bonds in Slovakia.
  • UBS AG and Deutsche Bank AG, acting through Deutsche Bank AG Zurich Branch, as Joint Lead Managers on the Slovak Republic´s largest ever CHF bond offering. This transaction comprised the issuance of CHF 325m 1.5225% bonds due in 2028 and the issuance of CHF 310m 1.9150% bonds due in 2034, signalling the return of Slovak Republic to the Swiss Franc market. It was also Slovak Republic´s largest ever CHF bond offering.
