After increasing the minimum wage for individual tariff classes by 1.0%, and increasing the minimum vacation allowance for 2013, on July 1 the representatives of employees and employers in the Slovenian trade sector now also agreed to increase the meal allowance set in the Tariff Annex to the Collective Agreement for the Slovenian trade sector.
Due to harmonisation with the average yearly retail price index, the amount of the meal allowance is €4.24 during work, €6.13 for business trips lasting 6-8 hours, €8.76 for trips lasting 8-12 hours, and €17.30 for trips lasting more than 12 hours.
