CMS Wistrand advises Local Connect Holding Sweden AB on a strategic acquisition of fibre infrastructure

CMS Wistrand has acted as legal advisor to Local Connect Holding Sweden AB, a portfolio company of the UK-based Equitix, in yet another strategic acquisition of the fibre network in Öckerö municipality from Öckerö Fastighets AB.

Local Connect Holding Sweden AB operates and develops city networks with a focus on local presence. The company already has operations in Falköping, Svedala and Svenljunga. Local Connect Holding Sweden AB will continue to develop the fibre network in Öckerö and work together with Öckerö municipality to develop a strategy to continue to promote broadband expansion in the municipality. The aim is to improve the opportunities for increased digitization and connectivity for residents and businesses.
